There are five provinces in the Okura Metropolitan Area: Hishi, Rashi, Tanbi, Kakuto and Chiryu. Hishi and Rashi are together known as Ryoshi. Mokudo in Hishi is the capital, and the city with the most active transport economy is located in Higashi-shitiri, which separates Oura and Mokudo. Takaragawa in Kakuto has also developed from silk and lime production. Karuhara in Tanbi, Fujigane and Gofu in Kakuto are also urban centres.
